Entergy Engineering Work Management Coordinator in Port Gibson, Mississippi

Job Title: Engineering Work Management Coordinator

Work Place Flexibility: Onsite

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Coordinates Engineering schedule scope selection to ensure effective online and outage schedule implementation.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates Engineering preparation for online and outage scope selection in the schedule process

  • Oversees the Engineering online and outage schedule.

  • Coordinates Engineering online and outage schedule changes as needed.

  • Facilitates the T-16 scope selection meeting and ensures cross-functional readiness for scope selection.

  • Attends various T-week meetings as Engineering representative.

  • Engages with cross-functional departments to ensure schedule optimization.

  • Monitors backlogs and notifies Engineers of upcoming tasks.

  • Assists Engineers in optimization of AOTs.

  • Serves on outage engineering support teams. Attends training and maintains qualifications necessary to perform required group function.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Engineer:

Minimum education required of the position:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or other closely related scientific discipline / physical science generally associated with power plant operations, or equivalent work experience (equivalent experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Engineer / Technical Specialist level.)

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • Engineer II: 2+ years of experience (1year with a M.S.)

  • Engineer III: 4+ years of experience

  • Senior Engineer: 6+ years of experience (5+ years with PE)

Technical Specialist:

Minimum education required of the position:

  • None

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • Technical Specialist, II: 2+ years of experience

  • Technical Specialist, III: 4+ years of experience

  • Technical Specialist, IV: 6+ years of experience

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.

  • Good to excellent communication skills.

  • Experience/proficiency in PC use and applications, depending upon engineering level.

Licenses/Certifications required of the position.
