ManTech Provisioning Logistician in Port Hueneme, California

We are currently seeking a motivated Provisioning Logistician with an active Secret clearance to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This is an On-Site position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with a variety of logistics support functions, including modifications to AELs/APLs, primary and alternate part number updates, NSN changes, and supporting Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) projects.

  • Utilize programs such as ICAPs, ILIT, Logiquest, Onetouch, Deckplate, OHMM-NG, and AWN to maintain and update logistics data.

  • Assist with LOGSAT ship visits to verify equipment and report findings to senior leadership.

  • Support and collaborate with a broader team of Engineers and ILS personnel in logistics tasks.

  • Maintain and update data and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.

  • Perform technical writing and editing for manuals and related documentation.

  • Provide support for provisioning, configuration management, and technical data as required for ILS.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalent Degree (GED)

  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), examples include:

  • Provisioning, configuration management, and technical writing/manual editing

  • Engineering support related to US Navy operations, with a focus on the Maintenance Support Center on US Aircraft Carriers

  • Ability to travel within the continental United States (CONUS), typically in week-long increments or less. (Up to 25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UNREP equipment, shipboard systems, and mechanical maintenance.

  • Familiarity with Shipyard and NAVSEA installation requirements.

  • Knowledge of UNREP Station material condition assessments.

  • Experience with the use of Naval drawings/schematics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

  • Strong written communication skills for clear and concise documentation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop solutions

  • Mathematical skills for data manipulation and calculations

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in stationary positions for extended periods.

  • Ability to climb and descend ladders.

  • Operate standard office equipment.

  • Must be able to work aboard a ship and in a shipyard environment.

  • Must be able to communicate professionally with ManTech employees, clients, and senior leadership, including delivering presentations.
