Volt Management Corp. Electronics Assembler in Port Ludlow, Washington

Volt is hiring for an* Electronics Assembler located in Port Ludlow WA area*

As an Electronics Assembler you will:

  • Assemble surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC standards with various soldering tools, including under a microscope
  • Assemble PCBAs into sub-assemblies and systems
  • Follow documented assembly and work procedures
  • Remove and replace SMT and through-hole electronic components
  • Follow ISO 9001 quality system and common industry workmanship standards
  • Always Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures
  • Perform job in accordance with proper material handling procedures and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Overtime may be occasionally required

This is a Full-time contingent to hire role

You will need the following to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 1 year soldering experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and bills of material
  • Electronic component identification skills
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, motivation and ability to learn new processes
  • Detail oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management, team player
  • Lean Manufacturing - Continuous Improvement- Desired
  • Advanced soldering certificates or equivalent experience- Desired
  • Ham Radio License-Desired

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
