Sanitization TechnicianJob Description

The Sanitization Specialist will sanitize various types of totes, flush lines, and clean equipment in production areas across the facility. The person will use cleaning devices and/or chemical agents to sanitize production equipment or environments in the production rooms. The person will operate in alignment with clear established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions. Additionally, the person will complete paperwork in accordance with cGMP and GDP requirements and guidelines, understand equipment functionality, including parameters for cleaning and sanitizing, and perform inspections on cleaned equipment before use. The person will complete regular and unique training for specialized cleaning techniques, some of which are only used periodically. The person may operate a forklift, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and/or boom lift in execution of duties. The person will maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks, and verify that other team members have correct PPE and are following procedures. Other projects and duties may be assigned, which may include weekly, monthly, or annual recurring tasks to be completed during downtime.

MUST HAVE

• Sanitation and GMP Experience

• Use of cleaning devices and chemical agents

• Understanding of SOPs and Work Instructions

• Completion of paperwork according to cGMP and GDP guidelines

• Equipment functionality and inspection

• Operation of forklift, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and/or boom lift

Work Environment

Work within a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

Shift options include

2nd (3PM-11PM, M-F)

3rd (11PM-7AM, Mon night - Fri night).

Shift premiums include an additional $0.25 for 2nd shift and $0.50 for 3rd shift.
