Robert Half HR Generalist in Portage, Wisconsin

Description

We are looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist to become a part of our team in Portage, Wisconsin. As the HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in implementing and administering various HR policies and programs. Your responsibilities will cover areas such as recruitment, employee development, compensation, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer various HR policies and programs.

• Supervise the recruitment process, including identifying recruitment sources, evaluating candidates, and conducting interviews.

• Coordinate new permanent member orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

• Ensure legal compliance with all federal and state regulations related to human resources.

• Keep all HR-related records with strict adherence to confidentiality.

• Assist with workers' compensation and OSHA compliance programs.

• Handle HR functions such as answering HR queries, benefit enrollment, and processing new permanent members, changes, and termination information.

• Keep accurate employee information in the HRIS system.

• Develop and maintain detail oriented and technical knowledge in areas of responsibility.

• Manage communication with the union and respond to union grievances.

• Assist with employee learning and development programs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services is mandatory

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is required

• Experience with Dayforce is desirable

• Should possess thorough knowledge of Benefit Functions

• Excellent Communication skills are essential

• Must have a strong understanding of Compliance

• Experience in handling Employee Relations is necessary

• Familiarity with FMLA regulations is required

• Should have experience in Benefits Administration
