The Technical Engineering Manager will lead and direct all Tool Room Operations and all Automation Projects from existing production to new tool development. Works directly with with Scheduling and Technician Teams to coordinate tooling PMs and repairs as well as operations to address solutions for gaps. Will build and mantain a Technical Engineering Management Program (Life of Tool). Will maintain a robust PM System for current tooling to increase reliability, set work schedules to adhere to the timeliness of completion to meet/maintain production schedules, and develop programs to maintain equipment while working closely with the maintenance departments through the CMMS. Will serve as our Technical Expert when working with customers and have responsibility for new tool development internally through the development of tool design, advancements in tooling and automation technology, and tooling build techniques. Will support the Manufacturing, Process, and Commercial engineering groups in new product development and existing optimizations.
