Description

Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is in the search for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be pivotal in supporting our accounts payable team, handling data entry tasks, and maintaining necessary files and documents.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process vendor invoices into the accounting system software.

• Retrieve and sort invoices from various portals and group email boxes.

• Maintain and update data in different databases and software applications.

• Validate existing data by comparing it with source documents and rectify any incomplete documents with the necessary information.

• Perform other tasks related to the accounts payable function as assigned.

• Keep track of customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on the account status.

• Provide excellent customer service by effectively and professionally resolving customer inquiries.

• Use skills such as Account Reconciliation, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks effectively.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Experience with SAP

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
