Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Portland. As a Paralegal, your primary role will be to assist attorneys on cases involving Professional Liability, Healthcare, and other Civil Litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the defense of professionals, hospitals, and public-service entities by focusing on medical and hospital liability.

• Leverage your experience in trial preparation and trials to ensure effective legal processes.

• Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology to assist in case management.

• Manage and organize medical records and related documents, ensuring they are ready for discovery and expert consultation.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat to create, edit, and manage legal documents.

• Prioritize tasks, manage time, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

• Pay attention to detail and exercise good judgment in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of a Litigation Paralegal.

• Experience preparing Medical Chronologies.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
