Explore the potential of your pharmacy experience in an elevated role. We are recruiting a Director of Information Technology to join our team of health care professionals. The Director of Information Technology shall provide leadership and management over the Enterprise Information Technology department in its charge to implement, operate, and maintain computing and telecommunication facilities, equipment, and services that meet the needs of Ardon Health Holdings (AHH). This position will provide leadership and direction to the team to support the Company’s quality program and commitment to continuous quality improvement. Job type: Full-time Pay range: $160,802.73 - $217,089.20 annually, depending on experience. Benefits: Competitive pay Flexible PTO and paid company holidays Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) match Position specifications : Education and experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or relevant field of study. 10+ years’ experience in managing IT systems, services, and teams with specific experience in managing infrastructure, applications, and security, including: Conducting technology RFI/RFP processes. Negotiating IT service contracts and managing vendor performance. Implementing and maintaining large scale applications. Managing infrastructure and information security. Leading efforts for data strategies, analytics, and business intelligence. Experience establishing and governing policies, procedures, and processes. Demonstrated experience with IT Service Management strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship skills, strong organizational and project management skills, and sound judgment and decision-making ability. ​​​​​​ Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Developing and managing budgets. Strategic and tactical planning from a business and technical perspective and building IT roadmaps. Experience in healthcare or pharmacy highly desirable. Physical and mental functions and activities include: Ability to identify issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Effective communication, internal and external relationship development skills. Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills. Working conditions Work is performed in an office environment, with extensive keyboard and telephone work in a stationary position. Workflow may fluctuate and work outside of a standard workweek may be required. Position requires support and visits to multiple office locations. Contact with others: Internal direct contact with business customers at all levels across all departments. Externally with customers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, auditors, consultants, and business partners. Essential Functions and activities : Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate strategic plans and Information Technology strategic goals. Align and define technology vision, strategy, and roadmap with business objectives. Develop, implement, and manage an information security program to protect enterprise communications, systems, and assets from both internal and external threats. Oversee and lead staff responsible for business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss. Oversee and optimize technology systems and resources to achieve AHH objectives. Service delivery management including application, infrastructure, and data services. Lead the Information Security program for Ardon and Emerging. Lead the strategy, planning and implementation of the IT ecosystem and innovations that seamlessly connect all components of the organization. Maintain the information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines; update policies as required. Partner with the outsourced technology support vendor and protect the company from cyber threats. Ensure controls continue for Information Technology landscape, including NIST compliance. Manage the incident response and disaster recovery programs. Conduct regular exercises and repost results to executive leadership, auditors, and regulators. IT project management and leadership. Team management. Manages relationships with vendors including contract negotiations and support. Business partner engagement and support. Budget development and management. Is considered quality management program staff and allocates approximately 5% of overall job requirements to quality management activities. Actively participates and provides support as needed to fellow leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts. Complies with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional/non-essential functions and activities Performs or supports administrative tasks as needed. Some travel, additional hours including evenings, as well as on-call duties, as necessary. Our ideal candidate has: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Ability to navigate computer applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of pharmacy benefit investigation, prior authorization support, and patient financial assistance connection. Prior experience working with physicians, nurses, or other healthcare professionals.
