Robert Half Financial Analyst in Portland, Oregon

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the bustling city of Portland, Oregon. The successful candidate will serve in a critical role, undertaking financial reporting, and managing transitions between NetSuite and Adaptive. This role is crucial in our organization and requires strong communication skills, the ability to independently manage projects, and the capacity to handle some degree of manual work-arounds due to the ongoing system transition.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner

• Manage the transition process from existing systems to NetSuite and Adaptive

• Leverage financial analysis skills to drive data-driven decision making

• Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress

• Handle ad hoc financial analysis as required by the team

• Assist in audit preparation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Conduct daily reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate

• Use NetSuite and Adaptive Insights tools to streamline financial processes and procedures

• Utilize skills in budgeting and forecasting to predict future financial trends

• Carry out regular balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all financial data is accurate. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role

• Proficiency in the use of financial software, specifically NetSuite and Adaptive Insights

• Strong understanding of budget processes and financial analysis

• Experience with financial audits, daily reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation

• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting procedures

• Ability to conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required

• Understanding of financial forecast methodologies

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
