Aerotek Maintenance Technician Day Shift in Portland, Oregon

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing all production machines to ensure continuous and efficient line operations. This role offers the opportunity to advance to a higher level upon gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency. Key responsibilities include prioritizing the production line's operation, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting various mechanical systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, and more. The technician will also maintain accurate records and logs, comply with all departmental policies, and ensure minimal downtime by swiftly addressing equipment issues.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with food processing and packaging equipment

  • Pneumatic and Mechanical linkage repair experience

  • Proficient with standard hand and power tools used in plant maintenance

  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Fabrication skills with drill press, mill, and lathe machine

  • Basic shop math skills
