Universal Health Services Outpatient Community Liaison in PORTLAND, Oregon

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a full time Outpatient Community Liaison to build and maintain partnerships with surrounding hospitals, community partners and referral sources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a referral network by building relationships with physicians, clinicians, hospital systems and providers

  • Assisting with a quarterly marketing plan, tracking progress, and analyzing results

  • Identifying market trends and creating business development initiatives in alignment with trending and company objectives.

  • Driving internal organizational change by utilizing external customer feedback for continuous clinical improvement and customer service

  • Promoting and supporting clinical processes for outpatient and inpatient care

  • Assisting with contract negotiations with managed care organizations

  • Facilitating community events; representing the hospital at trade shows, networking events, educational (CEU) events, and conferences.

  • Provide in-services and professional presentations on Cedar Hills Hospital programs, continuum of services, admissions criteria, and admissions process.

  • Assisting with the coordination of the referral-to-admission process.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health, marketing, business administration or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles

  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record

  • Frequent travel throughout Oregon

  • Primarily remote position, with the ability to come into the office weekly as needed
