Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

  • Operate PLC controlled chemical handling systems to transfer chemicals from large storage silos to production area tanks.

  • You will be responsible for accurately filling totes and drums, operating complex automation systems to manage pumps, valves, and piping systems, while adhering strictly to safety and production procedures.

  • Additionally, your role will involve mixing and blending chemicals to produce new formulations, testing and inspecting chemical quality, and assisting in general production tasks such as filling drums and totes.

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.

Work Environment

  • The work environment is a very clean, organized, and quiet manufacturing facility. The facility specializes in distributing chemicals like acids used in the semiconductor industry, involving down packing processes from large storage tanks to smaller containers.

  • The facility operates with high safety standards, requiring full PPE, including bunny suits, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators, to ensure no direct chemical contact and maintain product purity.
