Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Job Description

An experienced Quality Control Manager will oversee all aspects of the Certified Quality Control program. This includes physical inspection, documentation, internal audits, and organization of QC systems for a fabricator of heat exchangers and pressure vessels. The candidate will be responsible for the QC at the facility, all the inspections performed, and the documentation created and populated at each step. This potentially includes machined parts, but predominantly welded parts and other formed metal, such as sheet metal bent in a press brake. The candidate should have some knowledge of pressure vessels (Section 9). This is an industrial environment and product, not similar to consumer product manufacturing like electronics or small parts.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.

Work Environment

Time is split between being in the office and out on the shop floor looking at parts, reviewing documentation specific to each build, and talking with machine operators, welders, and inspectors.
