Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in PORTLAND, Oregon. This role is critical in supporting our team with complex account reconciliations and due diligence work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with complex account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions

• Conduct due diligence work, identifying and mitigating financial risks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Conduct bank reconciliations, verifying and resolving any discrepancies

• Assist with month end close procedures, preparing financial reports as required

• Balance sheet reconciliation, identifying any irregularities and proposing solutions

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics

• Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes

• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Requirements

• Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Ability to manage Month End Close activities

• Experience in performing Due Diligence is necessary
