E-TAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission. The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects. Job Description Provide DOE with daily assigned project oversight by monitoring and evaluating the onsite contractors' requirements compliance and performance. Conducted daily oversight through a combination of direct field observation and documentation verification, interviews of workers and management, attendance at various briefings and pre-job meetings or critiques, participation in drill and exercises, monitoring of training and participation in meetings. Interact and work with DOE PPPO employees on a daily basis. Develop and submit weekly assigned project status updates for review by DOE and ETAS management team. Ensure that DOE Facility Representatives and ETAS Management are informed of critical site issues in timely manner. Provide Technical review and comment on the prime contractors' project work plans, drawings, job hazard analysis, fire hazard analysis, etc. Identify, report, and track contractor non-compliances and safety issues to ensure rapid and proper resolution. Visually validate all contractor implemented corrective actions, generate issue closure documentation for all resolved issues, and submit to the responsible DOE FR for their review and concurrence. Participate in the conduct of assessments and surveillances of contractor programs and activities to ensure compliance with requirements. Attend numerous project overview sessions with site contractors scheduled to perform work at the PORTS site to become familiar with various project scopes of work, planned execution methods, schedules, participants, and overall project objectives. Perform and document monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual area inspections to ensure all prime contractors' contractual requirements meet established performance standards. Perform additional assignments as required to ensure DOE, and ETAS, mission success including on back shift, holidays, and weekends as required and directed. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in science, engineering, or related field Five years' experience in construction engineering, manufacturing, project management or facilities operations organizations Knowledge and application of conduct of operations and safe work practices Experience and education in chemical, nuclear and/or radiological facilities Ability to conduct functional area assessments and coordinate site level environmental regulatory actions Ability to read and understand drawings Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite Effective oral and written communication skills.
