POSITION DETAILS
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience, or have gone through dedicated postgraduate EM training
St. Lawrence Health is looking for full-time Emergency Medicine APPs to join our team of dedicated providers!
Canton-Potsdam Hospital ED:- 24/7 Physician coverage
- APP shifts:
- 10am - 10pm Rapid Assessment Zone (RAZ) - functions as a Provider in Triage Model
- 8am - 5pm Main ED
- 5pm - 2am Main ED
- Level III Trauma Center
- Primary Stroke Center
- 24/7 Physician coverage
- APP shift:
- 10am - 6pm Main ED
- Critical Access Hospital
- Compensation:
- $100/hr or $208,000/year (Canton-Potsdam Hospital)
- $105/hr or $218,400/year (Massena Hospital)
- 200 hours per year of paid benefit time
- APPs may float between EDs and work shifts at both locations, as per their preference
- Signing Bonus - $5,000
- Relocation - up to $7,500
- Paid CME - $2,000 per contract year
- Paid Professional Fees - reimbursed for NYS license and registration, DEA registration, mandatory board certification fees, ACLS, PALS, NRP and ATLS (as needed)
- Paid malpractice insurance
- BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
