First Children Services is currently seeking a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to join our team! We proudly supported our focus on education in a new partnership with Capella University, where our employees can take advantage of free CEUs and certificates.

First Children Services is currently seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team! We are a family-owned, family-operated, and family-focused organization. FCS is a New Jersey Department of Education and Clinic and Agency, approved provider for local district and clinic services. We provide services to public, private, and charter schools, including ABA, consultation and mental health support. Our staff take a collaborative approach by regularly partnering with the child study team members, teachers, guidance counselors, and administration to progress towards the best possible outcome for the school community. We are a passionate and dynamic group; unique for our eclectic, fun and collaborative spirit while still adhering to a high-quality, evidence-based practice. *Day to day primary functions: *
Work 1:1 with client in independent and group classroom settings
Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
Provide ABA therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive treatment outcomes
Read and implement individualized treatment plans
Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
What we require from you:
*BA degree in Psychology, Social Work or Education required *
1 year experience working with children
Previous experience working with disabilities preferred
Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
