OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

We are looking for a Meat Cutter to break down carcasses and fabricate into retail cuts that

exceed customer expectations. The Meat Cutter reports directly to the Room Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Harvest Livestock

? Break Down Carcasses

? Fabricate Carcasses into Retail Cuts

? Trim to Customer Specifications

? Help Monitor All Daily Logs & Records

? Maintain Organization

? Inspect Packaging to Ensure Labeling Requirements are met

? Clean and Sanitize Work Environment

? Assist as Needed in Plant Operations

? Lead by Example

? Maintain a Positive Team Morale

? Help Solve Problems and Teach Others to become Problem Solvers

? Create an Excellent Customer Experience

? Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

? High school diploma or GED certificate preferred

? Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus

? Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not a requirement. We encourage

those with grocery store or restaurant meat cutting experience to apply as well as those

who have worked in a meat processing facility. We are happy to train people who are

excited to learn a new career as well.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

? Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting

heavy loads of up to 60 pounds, etc.)

? Good hand-eye coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: \$11.50-14.00 per hour depending upon experience. Opportunity for a pay

increase based on performance at 90 day evaluation. We believe in rewarding a job well done.

Experience is preferred but not necessary. On the job training is provided.
