Summary: Assists laboratory physicians and RNs in areas related to Cardiac Catheterization procedures. Provides care to a specific group of adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care departments.Candidates are invited to come and shadow in the department to learn more!

Education and Experience Requirements:

·Minimum of 2 years college or technical training, or equivalent experience.

·Will train in Interventional and Electrophysiology Procedures

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

·Maintains competency and proficiency with all Interventional and Electrophysiology equipment and procedures by utilizing reading material and attending in-service programs.

·General knowledge of a specialized or technical field normally associated with an A.A. or A.S. degree.

License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:

·Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

·NYS Radiologic Technologist License.

·American Registry or Radiologic Technology Certification, or eligible.

Schedule: Flex Monday- Friday 10 hour shifts with call
