Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $26-$40/hr (dependent on experience)

Shift: 1pm-9pm

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, building, and facilities. You will quickly respond to production line calls, informing Production personnel about the status of machinery and repairs. Your role includes operating and observing machinery to test their performance, troubleshooting, and repairing Production department electrical equipment.

Hard Skills

• Performing PMs and lubrication

• Cleaning or lubricating machinery parts

• Following Preventative Maintenance Program

• Repairing equipment

• Performing preventive maintenance operations

Soft Skills

• Quick response to production line calls

• Effective communication with Production personnel

• Ability to establish time schedules that least interfere with production operations

• Training Maintenance/Engineering personnel

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Poughkeepsie, New York.
