This individual is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the training staff. What does a Technical Training Supervisor do?•Supervises the training staff•Provides expertise in developing and executing learning strategies and programs across the Company•Analyzes organizational training needs to implement new or enhance existing programming•Evaluates individual and organizational development needs•Implements various learning methods (i.e. online, instructor-led, experiential)•Designs and delivers e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings•Guides leadership in assessing employee development opportunities•Supports the strategic planning and budgeting processes•Performs other related duties as required•Provides storm/ emergency response support What does it take to be a Technical Training Supervisor? Required:•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Organizational Psychology or a relevant field and 3 years of related experience. In lieu of bachelor’s, associates degree in the aforementioned fields and at least 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of associates degree, high school diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in related field required.•Ability to lead a team•Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills•Skilled in training facilitation and/ or curriculum design•Skilled at training needs analysis•Skilled with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods•Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a multi-functional and diverse organization•Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications•Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information•Valid drivers licensePreferred:•Experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry•Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to coordinate, track, and report on employee training•Previous supervisory experienceApplications will be accepted until July 17, 2024.
