Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Network Architect to join our team in Powell, Ohio. This role involves the design and development of cloud solutions in collaboration with agency cloud engineers, acting as a subject matter expert on cloud architecture and services. This position is a contract employment opportunity and requires on-site work at least twice a week.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing cloud solutions in collaboration with agency cloud engineers.

• Leading cloud architects and engineers with regards to architecture and technical implementation.

• Ensuring organizational best practices are implemented across the entire cloud portfolio.

• Understanding and delivering security guardrails and frameworks while upholding cloud security best practices.

• Participating in and driving Cloud Governance board activities.

• Providing technical oversight and guidance for infrastructure as code templates to adhere to Enterprise Architecture standards.

• Supporting application rationalization, vendor interactions, and procurements for cloud services.

• Assisting with provisioning of cloud services and enablement of agency usage of state IaaS and PaaS offerings.

• Collaborating with HR and vendors to create training recommendations and conduct informational trainings.

• Managing the end-to-end technical roadmap for existing and proposed cloud services and articulating impact on the broader strategy.

• Working to establish guidelines, templates, best practices, and standards related to state cloud offerings.

• Providing technical advisory to future and existing projects and programs.

• Proven expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Proficiency in working with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies

• Experience with EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Proficiency in Configuration Management

• Experience with Deployments and Design

• Understanding of Cloud engineering and Cloud migration

• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure API Management, Azure AD Connect, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Microsoft Azure, and Windows Azure

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
