Depending on the load, the truck driver will drive a commercial 18-wheeler Semi-truck that is over 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or a truck with a hotshot trailer, which is less than 26,001 pounds GVW. Will be responsible for loading and unloading the shipment. Will make local deliveries by obeying all traffic laws and following all established traffic and transportation procedures. Will read maps and follow written/ or verbal geographical directions. Must have or be able to obtain a CDL License.
