This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College.

The Learning Center Assistant serves as receptionist at the Prescott Learning Center (PLC) in a busy, high traffic area, answering students questions, making referrals to college resources, including faculty offices.\ \ Duties will include:

• Scheduling appointments and follow-up calls, making copies and providing general clerical support to several departments housed in the PLC
• Serving as the switchboard operator for the district, providing input for switchboard protocols, updating college directories, tracking call volume data and updating web pages
• Provides computer assistance as needed to students using the various computer programs in the PLC computer lab.
