High School Diploma/GED
Two years of scrub tech experience
Six months recent first assistant on-the-job experience and/or a letter of recommendation from surgeons for whom they performed as a first assistant
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider
Successful completion of an approvedFirst Assistant program with a curriculum that includes didactic and clinical training designed for first assisting the surgeon
Electronic Medical Record or Cerner experience
Scrub Tech First Assist Certificate
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
