Dignity Health Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in Prescott Valley, Arizona

Dignity Health- Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our established and growing employed practice in Prescott Valley, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Patient population - 18+; Geriatric

  • Work shift: 4 x 10-hour days

  • Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week

  • Daily patient volume: 22-24 patients per day

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Procedures - Suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKG’s,etc. Will vary by experience.

  • Call: On call up to 4 times per month and the days of the week vary, including weekend call. Weekends are 24 hr call and weekdays are 5-8am on-call

  • No Shift call- just after hours on-call

  • This is a panel position and provider will be expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow ups, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a Master's degree in Nursing

  • Compact state or Arizona RN license

  • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license or elgibilty to obtain

  • National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations

  • Valid DEA registration

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

Preferred

  • PREFERRED: American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Pay Range

$48.54 - $75.00 /hour
