We are currently seeking to hire a Senior-level Civil Engineer/Project manager Project Engineer as part of our Civil Design Team. The Senior Engineer/Manager will oversee staff and design team involvement with preparing roadway, grading, utility and stormwater management plans for projects in private and public sectors. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams to develop project objectives by working closely with design team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead, oversee, produce, and check civil engineering design to create high-quality designs and deliverables for a variety of site and land development projects. Expected to include, among other things, geometric, roadway, contour grading, utilities, and stormwater management plans.
  • Ensure that engineering studies, reports, and analysis meet the scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Control the overall project goal by reviewing designs, calculations and specifications and recommending action.
  • Lead meetings with staff, clients, and stakeholders to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical project elements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years of progressive land development engineering experience (required)
  • Experience using AutoCAD; Civil 3D (required)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (required)
  • Experience in managing teams,
  • Similar experience in Maryland (preferred)
