Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Specialist for a dynamic team at a rapidly growing company located in Princeton, New Jersey. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities relating to both accounts payable and accounts receivable, among other accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Submit invoices using AP workflow tools and ensure their accuracy.

• Process and reconcile charges for efficient management of expenses.

• Maintain administrative items on travel platforms ensuring smooth operations.

• Keep track of 1099 data and process it as required, maintaining compliance with tax regulations.

• Liaise with vendors regarding bank details and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Organize and maintain shared email boxes for efficient communication and record-keeping.

• Create account statements for customers and vendors, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle various Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable related tasks, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

Requirements

• Demonstrates proficiency in various accounting functions.

• Has practical knowledge and experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with billing functions and processes.

• Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
