As an Application Technician for Stability, your role will be an 80:20 hybrid position with 80% of the time dedicated to Stability Management and 20% of the time dedicated to supporting the Application Labs (contingent upon daily workload). Your main priority will be managing and coordinating all client stability requests and effectively communicating results to our internal/external business partners. The remainder of the time (workload and time permitting) will be spent assisting the Application Lab with preparing samples in various technologies (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, etc.). This position comes with high visibility and will play a key role with establishing and maintaining successful customer relationships.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver stability evaluations and reports for Fine Fragrance, Body Care, Ari Care, and Home Care projects.

  • Analyzing, interpreting, reporting and presenting the results to ensure key insights are communicated

  • To act as primary point of contact and work closely with internal and external teams for all stability activity

  • Perform and maintain calibration of equipment such as temperature chambers and ovens, PH meter, Viscometer, UV light box, etc.

  • Testing samples for performance, stability while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices

  • Identifying technical problems in application samples and tests, processes, and test solutions

  • Prepare and deliver complex application samples for clients using our CLASS sampling system and independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level

    You bring

  • A background in Science and Bachelor’s degree

  • Previous experience in the fragrance/flavor industry

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to exercise tact and diplomacy

  • Excellent planning, presentation, organizational and time management skills

  • Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership, assertive and passionate for high level of client satisfaction

  • Strong business acumen and business management skills
