Employer:Bristol-Myers Squibb CompanyPosition:Manager, BIA GPS Cell Therapy Analytics (ref.# 4067)Location:556 Morris Ave., Summit NJ 07901Duties: Draw on experience with Github, machine learning, advanced programming in SQL and Python, Cloud computing such as AWS, Google and Azure, Tableau, and Simio to design, develop and implement a broad array of business analytics that solve complex problems in a computationally efficient manner by leveraging advanced understanding of statistics and data science. Identify and connect data sources from different systems including 3rd party APIs., merges and prepares the data, and builds production-ready data pipelines, when required, while becoming well versed with the business implications of the data. Build effective, easy to understand data visualization solutions that provide business insights to Cell Therapy stakeholders. Develop predictive models applying advance statistical and/or machine learning techniques to inform Cell Therapy business strategies. Develop data automation platforms to drive efficiency in business analytics reporting and predictive modeling. Identify new opportunities to further leverage analytics, data and analytical tools. Manage planned and ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness in delivery to business stakeholders. Ensure best practice adoption within stated areas of responsibility, applying appropriate levels of technical oversight, standardization, and subject matter expertise. Author detailed documentation that describes analytics tool development, assumptions and input data, and any specialized data treatments. Authors user manual for dissemination within Cell Therapy user base. Partner with other Cell Therapy Analytics team members and business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of Cell Therapy business priorities. May work remotely 2-3 days per week within normal commuting distance of Summit NJ. Requirements: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, Data Analytics or a related field plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
