Energy Solutions (US) LLC Regional Maintenance Reliability Engineer in Princeton, New Jersey

Company: Energy Solutions (US) LLCTitle: Regional Maintenance Reliability EngineerDuties: Develop and maintain the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program and documentation to assure compliance with company and regulatory standards; support multiple North American production sites for the production of oilfield chemicals and polymer additives; develop, maintain, and coordinate the administration of world class Preventative/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) program for the plant(s) including inspection procedures, frequencies, employee training, quality assurance, deficiency mitigation, auditing and records management, to encompass corporate and legal requirements such as MI and ISO 9002/2000 certification; use predictive technologies combined with historical information to identify dominant deterioration and failure modes, causes/effects of deterioration and corrective actions requires (failure analysis and mitigation); develop engineering solutions to maintenance problems, including ways of reducing or eliminating the need for maintenance through equipment replacement or improvement of work practices; work with production and technical departments to develop critical equipment list, spare parts inventory and reliability strategies for the critical equipment; failure analysis and corrective action support for maintenance technicians; assist maintenance and operations personnel as needed in equipment troubleshooting; work closely with operations department in solving problems required to maximize the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the plant using the ReSOLv maintenance excellence process; identify, scope and execute capital projects associated with improving plant reliability; develop and refine plant equipment technical specifications and standards; support the maintenance departments in the planning and coordination of PM and MI activities; support ME initiatives (SOLMAX, SOLWOM, 5S, KanBan, TEC, etc.) and champion TPM; continuously upgrade personal technical skill levels to assure application of best available technology and techniques for addressing maintenance/reliability issues. Home office / remote work option available; position can be based anywhere in the U.S. 10% to 20% travel required to company locations within the U.S. (including Lock Haven, PA, Shreveport, LA, Long Beach, CA, Midland, TX, and Snyder, TX) to improve production site reliability.Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or closely related field and five years of experience in job offered or five years of experience as Site I&E Reliability Sr. Engineer, Instrument Reliability Manager, and/or Control Systems Analyst or in similar maintenance and reliability position(s) in the chemical manufacturing industry. Skills required: Background in education, training, or experience must include computer skills and a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Apps and general understanding of databases; general knowledge of plant reliability practices, preventive/predictive maintenance practices, mechanical integrity, failure analysis, continuous improvement, and efficiency measurement; working knowledge of Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); working knowledge of manufacturing practices and process optimization for batch and continuous processing; familiarity with Industrial Hygiene concepts and Personal Protective Equipment; understanding of standards relating to personnel and the impact of mechanical equipment and instruments on process safety.Salary: $105,000 to $145,200 per yearLocation: 504 Carnegie Center Drive, Princeton, NJ 08540Contact Person: Billie Hibbitt, NA O&G HR Manager, billie.hibbitt@syensqo.com
