Genmab Senior AWS DevOps Engineer in Princeton, New Jersey

The Role

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for our AI and ML products. Your deep expertise in AWS services will be instrumental in building and optimizing our deployment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure.

We have a hybrid model that requires being oniste 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML applications.
Deploy, manage, and monitor AI and ML products on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and operations teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
Ensure adherence to security and compliance best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, test, and production environments.
Continuously improve infrastructure and development workflows by integrating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement performance tuning measures.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS services.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and more.
Proven track record of setting up and managing complex CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Proficient in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or EKS.
In-depth understanding of networking, security, and database management within AWS.
Proficient with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work under pressure.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

Requirements
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications.
Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or SageMaker.
Knowledge of data engineering and data pipeline tools.


For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$114,375.00---$190,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
