PROSPER - TOWN OF Public Safety Officer in PROSPER, Texas
Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Texas drivers license.
- Must have the ability to pass a physical.
- Previous experience involving personal computer operations is preferred.
The Public Safety Officer (PSO) performs a wide variety of tasks in support of law enforcement and crime prevention functions. This position maintains property and evidence, police uniforms and related equipment, and assists with police fleet and equipment. Frequently interact with and provides assistance to the public, and special Town events. Conducts a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of the Police Department and to perform other duties as assigned.
