Robert Half Account Coordinator in Providence, Rhode Island

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Account Coordinator in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. This role focuses on managing customer accounts in both retail distribution and E-commerce industries. Your main tasks will involve processing orders, managing stocks, and ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of customer accounts for accurate order processing within retail and E-commerce channels.

• Coordinate with the Inventory Strategist for effective management of out-of-stock items.

• Understand and maintain the product assortment offered to retail customers and manage new item submissions on various account platforms.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and international teams to verify item specifications for cataloging on trade websites.

• Investigate and resolve order issues, including item specifications, pricing, replenishment needs, delivery dates, and customer compliance.

• Process Overages Disputes by creating orders in our ERP system.

• Work closely with the Operations team to support team and company goals.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers and trade contacts to research and solve problems.

• Collaborate across departments to ensure the successful execution of customer programs.

• Initiate processes for increased operational efficiencies to expand the Operations team’s capacities. Requirements • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and maintaining long-term client relationships

• Proven experience in invoice management and processing

• Familiarity with logistics operations

• Proficiency in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems and procedures

• Previous experience as an EDI Specialist is desirable

• Commitment to adhering to company policies and procedures

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Problem-solving skills to address client issues and concerns effectively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to learn new software and technology quickly

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work efforts.
