WSP USA Project Delivery Associate in Providence, Rhode Island
This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Delivery Associate for our Northeast Transportation & Infrastructure Region. The following locations will be considered: Providence, RI; Glastonbury, CT; Boston/Worcester, MA; Merrimack, NH.
Be involved in projects with our Transportation and Infrastructure & Operations Teams and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
The successful candidate will:
Be conversant in financial terms and metrics and have experience reviewing these as well as identifying potential concerns and items needing Business Management Leaders focus.
Be a good communicator who can be proactive with PMs in all phases of Project Delivery life cycle from proposals to project close out.
Assist in development of work plans for addressing technical issues within project time and budget.
Take part in training our PMs with tools to successfully manage profitable projects, while providing quality deliverables to clients.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
1-3+ years of relevant post education experience
Proficient with MS Office Suite of Programs
Experience working on projects with responsibility for cost and schedule control and reporting internally within the company
Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability in risk identification and mitigation skills.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
