This facility includes multiple units for children,youth,adults and forensic patients in an inpatient mental health setting. With a campus spanning 300 acres,it will be your duty to secure the campus and ensure the safety of those being treated here as well as staff and visitors.     As a Security and Enforcement Officer,your principle dutieswill be:

• Maintaining patient safety and security
• Monitoring patients,staff and visitors on campus
• Monitoring materials,equipment and property

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification as a Special Functions Officer (SFO) or higher
• Will have experience working with mentally ill individuals
• Will have a flexible schedule
• Must be willing to provide on-call coverage when needed

This position is working 40 hours a week,full-time with benefits. *Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS)*

• Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in the Tier I Public Employees System.
• Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System. 
• Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k))
• Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Your employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only.
