Job Title: Skilled Brazer

Job Description

We are looking for candidates with skilled work experience in areas such as plumbing, welding, brazing, soldering, HVAC, etc. Technical schooling is a plus. Training will be provided for this position. The pay rate is $16.50 for candidates without brazing experience and $17.50 for those with brazing experience.

Responsibilities include: - Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Read and understand engineering drawings and bills of material. - Operate pipe cutters, threaders, torches, and all required equipment. - Solder components onto heat exchange coils, ensuring all joints are leak-free before passing the coil to pressure test. - Check work and ensure quality. - Match equipment serial numbers to engineering drawings and bills of material to ensure 100% accuracy. - Sign off all administrative paperwork when the job is completed. - Locate all equipment, tools, and parts needed for the job. - Determine the appropriate unit layout based on engineering drawings and equipment functionality. - Maneuver in and around units and sustain awkward positions to accurately place components on the unit. - Layout equipment so that all parts are easily serviceable.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Work Environment

1st shift M-F 6am-4:30pm with overtime as required. Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm with overtime. The work environment is climate-controlled with a great company culture. The work is performed in a heavy industrial production area where the employee is constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level is usually high, and there is exposure to extreme temperatures in both winter and summer. There may be possible stress caused by the pressure of meeting deadlines and product quality standards. Seasonal variations in hours worked are based on production demands.
