JM Eagle Electro-Mechanical Technician in Pueblo West, Colorado

POSITION: ELECTRO-MECHANIC TECHNICIAN

DUTIES: * Maintain work area to THM standards. * Works under the direction of the maintenance Superintendent * Installs, operates, maintains, tests, and locates both mechanical and electrical trouble on all plant buildings and equipment. * Advises Maintenance superintendent of maintenance problems and recommends action. * Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings * Makes complex wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and sketches. * Reads and makes proper electrical installation from blueprints and wiring diagrams. * Possesses and uses knowledge of Plant Electrical Distribution system and power requirements. * Starts, stops, maintains, and helps install plant utilities and production equipment. * Possesses a working knowledge of the following equipment: * Arc and gas welding equipment * Power tools such as the drill press, lathe, horizontal milling machine, Bridgeport' cut-off saw, and portable power tools * Hand tools and testing equipment of both electrical and mechanical trades. * Hoisting equipment. * Makes use of all types of electrical testing equipment commonly used in an industrial plant, such as ammeters, voltmeters, megometer, and oscilloscopes * Thorough knowledge of electrical codes. * Thorough knowledge of programmable controllers and personal computers and support equipment for both. * Possesses the necessary tools of the trade * Works directly under and assists the Maintenance Superintendent when required * Performs miscellaneous jobs as directed * Operates forklifts as necessary * Maintains forklift certification. * The above, prescribed duties are set forth as "bench marks" for evaluation of this job They are representative of the normal work performed and do not constitute the complete requirements of the job.

REQUIREMENTS: *High school diploma or equivalent experience Also able to pass competency tests applicable for this position. *5- years' experience maintenance repairs *Complete electrical & mechanical experience capable of reading and making complex mechanical drawings & wiring diagrams Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and shop math.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Have adequate sight hearing and use of limbs to safely operate all powered vehicles i.e. forklifts and sweepers * Sight capabilities to distinguish proper products identification as well as warning and operational indicators * Hearing capabilities to d1stingu1sh differences in warning alarm indicators and standard operation indicators *Sight capabilities to identify accuracy and neatness of required job assignments * Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling capabilities to handle job requirements such as operating, cleaning, or packaging equipment and products

WAGE: * $ 21.00- 33.15 per hour depending on experience

SHIFTS: * Full- Time

JOB SITE: Pueblo, CO
