Liberty Latin America Director, B2B Products in Puerto Rico

What´s the role?

As the Director, B2B Products, you will launch the vision, product strategy and road map for products and work with key stakeholders in the company to deliver on that vision including sales, partner teams, affiliates, and care operations. Conduct multi-year product planning to determine product life-cycle decisions, ensure consistency with overall marketing and corporate strategy, and achieve product performance, revenue, market share/penetration, and profitability objectives. Product Technical Subject Matter Expert, responsible for translating the business vision into the technical build and designing/delivering the customer experience within the constraints of budget and time.

How can you add value?

  • Monitor products for all defined KPIs to ensure best-in-class customer experience.

  • Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the program, including functional and non-functional specifications.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in outbound customer communications, consent, and privacy management.

  • Work closely with technical teams to understand root causes of customer pain points and drive the right solutions to exceed customer expectations.

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across teams and organization.

  • Support data mapping/transformation, solution design, process diagram, acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing and other project artifacts.

  • Develop the long-term roadmap of programs, features, and target outcomes for each customer segment and journey.

  • Work effectively with the technical/development team and help them understand the specifications/requirements for technical development, testing and implementation.

  • Partner with various business partners and solution teams to evaluate how to best leverage integration to meet evolving business requirements and information needs.

  • Ensure solutions promote simplicity, efficiency, and conform to enterprise and architecture standards and guidelines.

  • Provide functional leadership during technology enhancements upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with various internal business/technical partners.

  • Act as the foremost expert within the product marketing discipline and an acknowledged authority within the organization.

  • Design, develop, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution.

  • Participate in the creation of users’ stories, specs, roadmaps, and own the prioritization of tasks and activities.

  • Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.

  • Provide readout to leadership level regarding products and plans as assigned.

  • Demonstrate and support compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, Liberty Latin America’s policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.

  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.

8-10 years of professional experience with 5+ years of experience building and launching consumer wireless products.

Wireless industry experience preferred.

Experience in product roadmap assessment and planning.

Experience in driving and gathering business requirements, assessments, source/target transformation/mappings.

Other Qualifications:

  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).

  • Willing to travel.

  • Strong knowledge on 4G, 4G LTE, 5G mobile technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling individual to establish partnerships working with senior leaders and across organizational lines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders

  • A strategic mindset and sound reasoning skills to understand the factors influencing strategy such as customers, competition, and the organization’s strengths and weakness

  • Financial and business acumen and prior budgeting experience with the ability to develop these skills in others.

  • A thorough understanding of product development and the sourcing process

  • A critical understanding of the market to lead merchandising efforts for multiple brands

  • Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage several projects and tasks at a time..
