Summary of Duties:

 

Marketing/Promotions Coordinator Senior leads the marketing efforts of the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) focused on engaging alumni, donors, industry supporters, faculty, staff, media, and government agency partners around the Resilient Washington initiative. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing strategies that leverage multiple channels to enhance relationships, drive engagement, and increase contributions from our alumni and donor base. Emphasize delivering messages related to providing a secure food supply system, creating an adaptable workforce, maintaining sustainable natural resources, supporting thriving and healthy communities, and focusing on student success and the donors who made it possible. Coordinates, markets, and promotes CAHNRS alumni and donor events, and annual giving program.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field AND three (3) years of professional level experience in marketing, promotional or related work. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

 

• Experience coordinating graphic design, web, video services and/or public relations.

 

• Experience generating reports, viewing market metrics, extracting data, and sharing information with collaborators in project updates.

 

• Experience with web page development.

 

• Project management experience, specifically experience with the management of numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience in higher education, specifically in coordination with various departments including graphic design, web and video services, public relations, as well as a fundraising department.

 

• Experience

 

• Experience planning, writing, and formatting email marketing and outreach.

 

• Experience or training in visual and/or graphic design.

 

• Familiarly or work with agricultural, human sciences, natural resources, and related disciplines.

 

• Familiarly with project management software (such as Asana).
