Position Details:

 

Summary of Duties:

 

The primary function of this position is to provide support in the Bursar's Office as part of the Fiscal Team that services department requests, student accounts, and accounts receivable. Under general supervision, incumbent utilizes established procedures and guidelines in the performance of assigned tasks. Duties include account maintenance and reconciliation and PeopleSoft/Workday integrations. This position will also be engaged in accounting and customer service activities within the office, including monthly reconciliations, balancing payments, monitoring deposit activity, and any other support functions within the department as assigned by the Supervisor. This position will provide support during high volume periods in the Scholarship/Third party areas, as well as other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.

 

• Extensive customer service experience working with the public.

 

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience using WSU systems.

 

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft or other database applications such as Access or FoxPro.

 

• Experience working in a busy office environment that requires multi-tasking.

Monthly Salary:
