Morgan Stanley Wealth Management provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses, and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement, and trust.Field Service is a division which includes all regional, complex and branch service teams including service leaders as well as support professionals.

Position Summary:

This role will be a key individual contributor in the Field Service Organization, working closely with various Wealth Management business partners including, but not limited to, the broader field network, the sales organization, as well as third-party partners and coaches. This role will primarily focus on the design, development, execution and ongoing management of training and development programs to support the Field Service strategy. Additionally, the role will support key initiatives across other areas of the Field Service Organization as required.

Responsibilities:

  • · Design and implement field-facing learning and development programs, managing resources to meet the evolving needs of Service Professionals and Field Service leaders.
  • · Coordinate and manage in-person and virtual program logistics, including invitations, scheduling, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • · Develop course learning tools by understanding the needs of different segments, gathering requirements, and analyzing data to prioritize learning (e.g., session outlines, course descriptions, storyboards, discussion guides, etc.).
  • · Evaluate, recommend, and implement third-party programs and content, providing input on role-specific customization requirements.
  • · Support strategic initiatives by managing multiple workstreams.
  • · Serve as the central point of contact for program participants, facilitators, and internal departments, ensuring participant engagement and program success.
  • · Manage vendor partnerships and program execution, ensuring alignment with field strategy and long-term growth objectives.
  • · Monitor program progress and gather feedback to continually improve learning materials and program effectiveness.
  • · Identify metrics, develop evaluation methodologies, and manipulate data to analyze employee feedback to determine learning effectiveness.
  • · Align learning programs with business objectives and manage ongoing professional growth for Field Service Leaders and Support Professionals.
  • · Maintain and enhance Field Service Learning & Development intranet sites to support communication and access to resources.
  • · Keep abreast of industry standards and implement best practices in learning and development.
  • · Support the learning experience in real time by troubleshooting event challenges, webinar issues, broken links, and scheduling conflicts for employees.
  • · Lead operational and logistical details for all learning events, including invitations, registration processes, pre/post-work assignments, and feedback management

Qualifications:

  • · 3 years of professional experience
  • · Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in learning and development, human resources, or a related field.
  • · Persuasive communicator with strong leadership presence, interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • · Ability to synthesize information, identify issues, structure sound recommendations, and present data to aid in effective decision-making
  • · Experience owning, managing, and delivering projects in a professional business environment
  • · Excellent Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • · Experience developing and delivering learning and development programs strongly desired
  • · Experience using LMS / Cornerstone is preferred
  • · Wealth Management, or related industry experience, strongly preferred

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
