Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (MIL) in the Manpower and Reserves Affair Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will process active-duty administrative separations and retirement. You will assist in the administration and management of the Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL). You will research and retrieve missing source documents from other services in the Armed Service and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and determine that creditable service. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-8 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing military HR administrative and technical support functions relating to processing and management of separations and retirement. GS-7 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
