Matrix Providers has a civilian opportunity for a full-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide outpatient, clinical care to the U.S. military and their families at Quantico. The Government will accept any state license.

  • Role: Licensed Clinical Psychologist | Full-time Employee

  • Primary Duties: Assess, diagnose, and treat diverse behavioral and mental health concerns while offering crucial psychological support and guidance

  • Compensation: $149,760 (Salary)

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM | 40 hours per week

As a valued member of our Behavioral Health Team, the Clinical Psychologist will:

  • Provide a range of independent psychiatric evaluations from multiple referral sources which may involve determinations of fitness/suitability for duty.

  • Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.

  • Conduct psychological testing and interpretation as clinically indicated.

  • Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.

  • Complete appropriate disposition planning, to include referrals to higher levels of care as indicated, limited duty placements, Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) referrals, and narrative summaries and psychological addenda for medical boards.

Clinical Psychologist Requirements:

  • Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.

  • Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship in psychology

    accredited by the American Psychological Association.

  • Certification: BLS required

  • Experience: Must have 2 of last 3 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist.

  • Licensure: Current, complete, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.
