ManTech Software Developer/Engineer in Quantico, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Quantico, VA to provide exceptional support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • As a Software Engineer, candidate will be responsible for developing new custom tools and maintaining existing tools to support world-wide Cyber investigations, network operations, and intelligence reporting within a team of other software engineers, data scientists and cyber intelligence analysts.

  • Candidates will work in a collaborative environment with excellent support for all our development tools. Candidates will also have opportunities to work in several languages and frameworks across all our major projects. These include Python/Django, JS/Vue 2, Java/Nifi, C#/.Net. Additionally, candidates will support network admins with troubleshooting and management of servers and sensors.

  • In addition to developing custom tools and applications, candidates will support detailed analysis and mitigation of bugs in production software, conduct testing and evaluation of custom, open source, and COTS/GOTS software tools for use in production code. Candidates will work with customers and technical staff to resolve software problems and respond to suggestions for software modifications and enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in the following (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

  • Experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, and/or C#

  • Evaluating and using open source libraries

  • Code versioning tools and CI/CD with GitLab

  • Linux

Preferred Qualifications:

  • React experience

  • Django experience

  • JavaScript/Vue 2

  • Java Apache NiFi experience

  • Knowledge of containers and clustered systems

  • Elasticsearch

Clearance Requirements:

  • Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,200-$164,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
