Our client is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work with residents with disabilities and serious health impairments, the COTA is expected to assist, create and carry out treatment plans, evaluate needs of residents who may be appropriate candidates for services, make environmental modifications and work with staff to manage residents needs. Requirements:

Synthesizes evaluation results into a comprehensive written report which reflects strengths and barriers resident participation, directs program development; and guides evidence-based intervention.

Evaluates the residents profile's through a variety of functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.

Assist individual and group treatment for Occupational Therapy, including: instruction on therapeutic intervention; appropriate use of therapeutic equipment, methods, and instruction; and residents current level of function.

Qualifications:

Valid State NYS COTA certification from the New York State.

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000/year
