Employee & Public Relations SpecialistOur Human Resources Department located in Queensbury & Slingerlands, NY has a Full Time 40-hours Employee & Public Relations Specialist position available. This is a full-time, salaried, overtime exempt position that will require flexibility. Must be available for some evenings and weekends as required for recruitment events, projects, training and seminars. Travel between the two Administrative Offices is required (Quaker Road, Queensbury & Krumkill Road, Slingerlands) as well as travel within and outside the 3 counties for designated events. The rate of pay for this position is $58,460.00/year. The Employee and Public Specialist provides a broad range of professional employee relations activities including but not limited to training, conflict resolution, complaint investigations with preparation of reports to present to senior leaders. This position requires independent discretion in decision making and execution of responsibility. Additional responsibilities are a liaison and foundation Board coordinator, special events, web site management, social media management and membership database management. A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of one year experience in a position involving human resources or administration or comparable experience/education in a similar role.
