Description We are seeking a Database Architect / Modeler - Expert for our team located in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role involves creating and implementing new systems based on user specifications, providing technical advice in database design, and developing large-scale logical data models. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the focus will be on ensuring efficiency and integration of systems through meticulous database design.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new systems based on specifications from business analysts and management

• Serve as a technical advisor, guiding the team on efficient database usage and new related software

• Develop project-wide and business-wide logical data models

• Create physical database designs derived from logical data models

• Maintain database dictionaries, ensuring successful system integration through well-structured database design

• Utilize skills such as database design, database development, database administration, and process modeling to achieve team goals

• Ensure quality management in all stages of database design and implementation

• Utilize modeling skills to create logical data models and dictionaries for efficient system integration

• Apply knowledge of very-large-scale integration in the designing and modeling of databases. Requirements • Proficiency in Database Design and Development is required.

• Extensive experience in Database Architecture and Administration.

• Demonstrated expertise in the use of Database Modeler tools.

• Proficiency in Process Modeling techniques and methodologies.

• Ability to create and manage Logical Data Models.

• Familiarity with Dictionaries in a database context.

• Experience in QA Management, ensuring data integrity and quality.

• Knowledge of Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) is a plus.

• Proven ability to create detailed database specifications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
