Job Description
This position will be a part of the EHS Operational Excellence team and will focus on enhancing communication across a global organization to facilitate change through the implementation of annual company priorities, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is essential in proposing strategic actions to strengthen EHS programs in alignment with the company's priorities, mission, and values. The EHS Operational Excellence team is committed to establishing governance processes that are standardized across the Global Safety and Environment (GSE) division, providing visibility to risks, and enabling the company to build capabilities more effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management and Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies that effectively convey EHS priorities and operational changes to stakeholders across the global organization.
EHS Program Enhancement: Collaborate with various business units to facilitate the implementation of EHS programs, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Governance Process Standardization: Support the establishment and maintenance of governance processes that ensure standardized EHS practices across GSE.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the EHS team and different departments, ensuring that all parties understand and are aligned with EHS objectives and initiatives.
Execution of EHS Priorities: Actively participate in the execution of key EHS priorities and projects, fostering collaboration and engagement throughout the organization.
Training and Development: Independently develop and deliver training materials aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of EHS principles and practices among employees.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the EHS framework that enhance operational effectiveness and promote best practices.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, or related technical discipline.
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years of progressive industry experience.
Proven experience in managing change initiatives and communicating effectively across diverse teams.
Strong project management skills, with a focus on implementing and sustaining EHS programs.
Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex information clearly.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize based on customer needs and business goals.
Customer-focused approach with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and innovative in problem-solving.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Direct experience managing a site or corporate-level EHS program.
Experience in developing and maintaining effective communication strategies for EHS initiatives.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$104,200.00 - $163,900.00
